Our Pillars
Food Security and Sustainability

Education, Training and Upliftment
We support students by settling historical debt that prevents them from graduating, and fund secondary and tertiary education for students with proven dedication and strong work ethics. We offer artisan training in baking and sewing, helping individuals become self-sufficient, and establish small businesses such as bakeries and sewing academies that provide livelihoods for dozens of families.
Thousands of learners receive backpacks, stationery, toiletries, and snacks annually. We also assist Early Childhood Development Centres with teaching materials, provide laptops and digital training to high school students, and sponsor a primary school reading programme.
At Salt River Secondary School, we have planted a thriving vegetable garden where students, through the Eco Tribe initiative, learn to plant, harvest, make compost and cook nutritious meals. They are also taught how to earn an income by selling excess produce, compost and mulch. We also sponsor educational outings for learners.
By facilitating Trauma Release Workshops and Art Therapy sessions, we assist beneficiaries who deal with devastating traumas in their communities. By establishing an internet café we have given an otherwise impoverished community a hand up, not a hand out. Knowledge is power.

Disaster Relief and Rebuilding

Restoring Dignity
We empower single parents by supplying second-hand clothing they can sell for income, and support the homeless with thousands of sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows. We also donate Rape Comfort Packs to abuse victims, provide adult diapers and toiletries to old age homes, and supply schoolchildren with essential toiletries and underwear.
